Transportation Services

The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital District van is used exclusively for hospital business and patient transport as a complimentary service.

Our Rehabilitation Department uses the van for community re-integration outings, home safety evaluations and pertinent patient care appointments. This type of transport typically is within a 25 mile radius and involves a single patient and perhaps a care giver or family member.

Our van is also used for transporting patients from a Senior Center or other community point of departure to the hospital or one of our clinics for prescheduled appointments. This type of transport is typically within a 25 mile radius and will involve up to six passengers. Let the appointment scheduler know you will need a ride at the time you set up your appointment.

All van drivers will have a valid Washington State Drivers’ License and will be trained on vehicle use and operation of the wheelchair lift inside the van. All drivers will operate under hospital vehicle insurance. All drivers must carry a cell phone during outings for emergencies. No smoking, eating or drinking is permitted in the van.
