Physical Therapy (PT) specializes in the evaluation and treatment of a variety of conditions involving musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary systems. Treatment interventions focus on activities including balance, strengthening, flexibility, neuromuscular re-education, vestibular retraining, manual therapy and endurance training. Treatment plans are designed to improve mobility in order to restore function and improve quality of life.
Occupational Therapy (OT) specializes in the evaluation and treatment of a variety of conditions involving musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Treatment interventions focus on increasing independence with activities of daily living, strengthening, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy and other modalities used to restore function and improve quality of life.
Speech Therapy (ST) specializes in evaluation and treatment of a variety of conditions including neurological insults (CVA, brain injury) or change in mental status. Treatment interventions focus on improving aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive-communication impairments, voice retraining and swallow dysfunction, including modified barium swallow studies in order to restore function and improve quality of life.
