January 18, 2008 - Mobile Mammography Van continues service at SVH
Snoqualmie Valley Hospital has partnered with the SCCA (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance) to have mobile digital mammography service in the Snoqualmie Valley area. The mobile mammography service was on the hospital campus on December 5th and was a great success! The mobile mammography service will be at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital through March 2008.

All women 40 and over should have routine screening mammograms for breast cancer. We understand that in today’s busy world it can be difficult to find the time to schedule an office exam. By providing access to the mobile mammography service Snoqualmie Valley Hospital works with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance to provide a more convenient alternative to obtain a mammogram.

Being the only service with radiologists specially trained in breast imaging interpretation, you will have the peace of mind knowing that you received the most comprehensive and highest quality screening available.

Should you need additional tests or treatment, the SCCA’s Women’s Center provides the full spectrum of breast care diagnosis and treatment.

The mobile mammography service will be located on the hospital campus Tuesday, January 29th; Wednesday, February 27th; and Wednesday, March 26th; all from 9:00am to 4:00pm with walk up appointments welcome. We recommend scheduling an appointment for the mammogram through the scheduling number: (425) 831-3405.

The mobile mammography service accepts all major insurance providers including Medicare and Medicaid.
