May 8, 2008 - The regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting for May has been changed from Thursday, May 1, 2008 to Thursday, May 8, 2008, 6:30 p.m. at SnoqualmieValleyHospital in the Weyerhaeuser Room. This is an open public meeting and you are welcome to attend.

May 6th Hospital Public Hearing
Members of the public are invited to attend a Community Meeting to learn about and comment on the relocation of SnoqualmieValleyHospital to a Health Services Campus at the interchange of I-90 and SR-18. The May 6th Public Hearing is sponsored by the Hospital District and will provide updates including for the hospital design and financing. Location for this event is the SnoqualmieMiddle School with a Hospitality Room opening at 6:00 and presentations beginning at 6:30. For more information, call 425-831-2362.

The SnoqualmieMiddle School is located at 9200 Railroad Ave. S.E., in Snoqualmie.

February 2, 200 8 - Newwomen’s clinic coming soon
There are plans to open a new clinic on Snoqualmie Ridge devoted to women’s healthcare. The Snoqualmie Ridge Women’s Health Clinic is planned for a March 2008 opening.   Read More >

Snoqualmie Valley Hospital seeks applications from local residents wishing to make a meaningful difference in the future of healthcare throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. Those who are selected will attend five dinner/symposiums featuring in-depth presentations, hear local updates and actively engage Hospital District leadership. January 18, 2008 - Mobile Mammography Van continues service at SVH
Snoqualmie Valley Hospital has partnered with the SCCA (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance) to have mobile digital mammography service in the Snoqualmie Valley area. The mobile mammography service was on the hospital campus on December 5th and was a great success! The mobile mammography service will be at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital through March 2008.   Read More>

January 16, 2008 – King County Comprehensive Plan will be updated in 2008 with land use changes
A public hearing will take place on Thursday, January 31st, at 6:30 p.m. at Cascade View Elementary School, which is located on Snoqualmie Ridge (34816 SE Ridge Street). King County representatives will be taking public comments regarding Snoqualmie Valley Hospital’s proposal to reclassify 70 acres between the southern limit of the Snoqualmie Ridge development and the I-90 interchange from rural to urban to develop a hospital and for other institutional uses. January 11, 2008 – Snoqualmie Tribe negotiating to buy current hospital campus
The following newspaper article highlights the fact that Snoqualmie Tribe is negotiating with Snoqualmie Valley Hospital to buy its 48-acre campus. Will the new hospital be bigger?
Yes, the new facility will be approximately 75,000 square feet, three times the size of the current facility. Initially it will have the same number of licensed hospital beds, 28, but the number and types of services and specialties will be expanded and existing services will be able to accommodate more patients.

The campus will be 71 acres and will include medical office buildings and room for the hospital to expand. View floor plans (500k pdf)
