Emergency Department Manager - The Emergency Department Manager is responsible for the overall operations of our Emergency Department. This position defines and monitors the standards of patient care and nursing practice, ensures availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources, supports collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. Additionally, this position is responsible in maintaining clinical competency and act as a clinical resource for staff.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience. ICU experience and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification is preferred. Clinical experience in Emergency Nursing and knowledge of Emergency Medical Services, including pre-hospital care and Trauma, is also preferred.
License/Certification: Current State license as a Registered Nurse. Current BCLS and ACLS. Basic Arrhythmia Certification.
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/ Ultrasound Technologist - Opportunity in our Imaging Department for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/ Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations that will require independent judgment and initiative. Will perform OB/GYN, Abdominal and a variety of vascular examinations. RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in Abdomen or OB/GYN required. RVT highly desirable. Qualified candidates will have minimum of two (2) years of previous experience with general and vascular ultrasound examinations. Must have current scanning experience, excellent patient skills and bed side manners and strong critical thinking skills as individual will work independently. Opportunity is for a regular per diem work for day shift.
Central Supply Technician - Part-time opening with our Endoscopy Department to provide processing and supply of sterile goods and equipment. Will be responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, preparing and packaging departmental equipment used in the Endoscope process. Qualified applicant will have a high school diploma or GED certificate and have a Central Supply Technician certification. Previous experience in a hospital Central Sterilization Department position preferred. Schedule may flex based on patient load but will include Thursday morning and Friday afternoon weekly.
Occupational Therapist - Part Time (.50) opening for licensed occupational therapist experienced in comprehensive evaluation and treatment of a variety of inpatient and outpatient populations and diagnoses, particularly elder adult. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team, including COTA to coordinate and provide skilled services and discharge plans. Successful candidate is experienced in program planning, and supervision of Assistants, Aides, and OT students. Prior experience in hospital and/or long-term care environment with a minimum of three years required.
