Welcome to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital and Clinics
Our passion - Quality Care with a Personal Touch. Our hospital, network of clinics, specialty practitioners and regional partners work together to provide a continuum of care that is locally convenient and regionally integrated. This includes family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, rehabilitation, geriatrics and numerous specialty services in addition to hospitalization and long term care in our Swing Bed program. Our patients are almost unanimous in highly rating the care they receive. This is due in part because the Hospital District has recruited and can retain a high quality, high caliber staff. Our small size permits them to practice medicine in beneficial ways they find they could not in big organizations. Our nursing-patient ratio is low. Emergency room wait times are short.
In short, we provide quality care with a personal touch.
Five things you may not have heard about your locally owned and operated Public Hospital District.
System of Integrated Healthcare
We excel in providing a continuum of primary, specialty and in-patient hospital care with a personal touch. Our clinics, hospital and ER serve residents of North Bend, Snoqualmie, Fall City, Carnation, Preston and surrounding areas.
Emergency Care
Our 24 hour Emergency Department (ER) is staffed by board certified physicians, nurses and technicians, all of whom have many year’s hospital experience at Harborview, Highline, UW, Overlake and Evergreen. They are highly qualified to handle any medical emergency. Wait times at our ER are significantly less and if needed, patients can be transported by Airlift Northwest to regional trauma centers.
Local Convenience / Regional Integration
We offer Family Practice, Women’s Health, Pediatrics and a best in class Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic while affiliating with larger facilities for highly complex procedures such as heart surgery. Specialty services include Cardiology, ENT; Gastroenterology, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Oncology/Hematology and Orthopedics.
Critical Access and Medicare
Our designation as a necessary provider qualifies us for realistic Medicare reimbursement under the Critical Access program. We are therefore able to bring an otherwise unobtainable standard of care to our communities. This has enormous positive implications as to access and quality of care for all Valley residents who are covered by Medicare.
Keeping Pace and Growing with Technology
Because we are small we can initiate changes and adapt quickly. As a result, we can provide a higher level of personal service while responding to the specific needs of the communities we serve. For example, we offer digital mammography, MRI and CT procedures, and have inaugurated use of electronic medical records that integrate hospital and clinic information providing you a better standard of care. Our planned hospital relocation in 2011 will insure we can keep current with 21st century technology and practices during this time of unprecedented change and population growth in the region.
